1. How does the screen connect to the shutdown module?
At first, connect the shutdown module to the PS-ON port of the screen, and modify the firmware of the display. Then find the “ps_on” in the config.ini file, and change its value to 1.
2. The screen can’t be touched.
Please create a new file, named “reset.txt” in the display’s SD card, insert the SD card into the screen, and press the reset button, the screen will be forced to enter the calibration interface. Please follow the red dot Click in the order in which they appear during the adjustment. When the calibration is finished, the display could be touched normally. Please confirm whether the display has a response in the calibration process.
3. How to connect the screen to the filament detection module?
Above all, connect the filament detection module to the display's PS-ON port, and modify the display’s firmware. Then find the “fil_runout” in the “config.ini.” file, and change its value to 2.
4. How to update the display’s firmware?
The firmware link is:
https://github.com/bigtreetech/BIGTREETECH-TouchScreenFirmware
The display’s firmware is divided into 4 files, including a theme file, screen BIN file, configuration file, and language file.
Then, there are 4 files on the display’s SD card, as the picture shows. Insert the SD card into the display, and charge with the screen, the screen will automatically refresh the firmware.
(Note: The screen bin file must be selected correctly, corresponding to the screen chip model, only one language file can be selected at a time, and the theme file is a TFT folder.)
5. How does the screen show the onboard SD card of the mainboard?
You need to modify the “onboard_sd:2” file in the display’s configuration file “config.ini”. If you only need to read the onboard SD card, just change it to “onboard_sd:1”.
6. The display shows the 3D printer is not connected?
Please confirm the following three points.
a) Please ensure that the correct serial port of the motherboard is enabled in the marlin firmware (e.g. the serial port of SKR 2 is “1”, set to “serial port 1”), and the baud rate is set to 115200.
Mainboard serial port query link:

b) Please confirm that the wiring between the motherboard and the touch screen corresponds to:
Mainboard <-> Touch Screen
5V<->5V
GND<->GND
TX<->RX
RX<->TX
RST<->RST
c) Ensure the Baud rate set by the display is also 115200.
